I will be relocating to Craven County in the near future, and I was wondering if anyone knew about the College Park subdivision area in New Bern. Im a recent graduate student and am looking for moderate priced rentals. I found a few duplexes in that area, but I don't know much about the neighborhoods. Is this area relatively safe?

FWIW, I have been in the New Bern area two years and never even heard of that neighborhood. Good Luck.

I was thinking the same thing, though I'm from Havelock. In fact my house is in College Park in Havelock. Named such b/c all of the streets are named after college teams. I'm pretty familiar w/ New Bern though, and never heard of College Park there.

Do you have a link or address?

Got it, that is right at the community college, but I have never heard it called college park area, just CCCC area. Live and learn.

It may be around the backside of Greenbriar when you first urn onto the street to leads to CCC....Instead of turning into the college, you keep following the road around into the backside of Greenbriar.....I havent been thru there in years, use to be nice....
