We are still getting rain near Emerald Isle, but I just saw this link to a picture of snow in a parking lot in Kitty Hawk. You have to rotate the picture to see it correctly.

None in Wilmington at the moment and although we're not supposed to get any, I'm crossing my fingers. If we get even an inch this place will shut down. lol.

Smile Still haven't heard much about ENC snow

We are all rain right now near Cape Carteret.

I did just see this picture from the Virginia Dept. of Transportation. It's Interstate 81 where it intersects Route 60 at Lexington, Va.

It's just ugly here near Greenville. We continue to get icing even as of right now. We have a light mist falling and it's freezing on contact. I have 14 huge pines on my 1 acre lot and I think they're pretty much made a mess on every one of my 43,560 sq. feet. I have a lot of large branches down in addition to all of the garbage that pine trees constantly drop. Earlier today you could stand outside and hear trees popping and cracking all over the place. About every 30 seconds you'd hear a loud crack and then a crash as a large limb came down.

All of the roads except for the NC routes are a mess too. With the temps not rising much above freezing until Wednesday I don't see them opening schools until at least then.

I came through Charlotte on the 30th and conditions were brutal. Icing everywhere. It took me 15 hours to get home from Boston on US Air.
