Hello everyone,
My family and I moved to New Bern in August and between looking for jobs and settling in we haven't had time to get out and meet new people. I would really like to know where a good place to meet new families with elementary and high school aged children. I love my husband but I really need other adults to talk too. Any help would be appreciate

Did you think that I hadnt thought about those places. I am looking for places outside school, perhaps I didnt word my post correctly. And thought perhaps there were nice people on here that are looking for friends, that are also new to the area.

Wow, that's a pretty harsh tone for someone who was just trying to offer help.

Someone, I think it is the dog place on Middle Street hosts or sponsor dog walks in the summer. I just found out about it as they came to an end this fall. That would seem to be a good place to meet families a little later on this year.

Good Luck.
