there are a lot of folks moving to eastern NC as well as coastal NC. You could designate a subforum as eastern/coastal subforum as such.

Would it be possible to have a map of NC? Those in search of info could click on the area of the map they are interested in.

Just makes searching for info more complicated...what is so hard to query for info the way the forums are currently? Just an opinion.

Yes, It doesn't make sense unless you designate both Eastern NC (Coastal Plane) and the Coast.

Personally I think you guys should add some sort of a sticky thing where the first thing potential residents would see is something like, "Is Charlotte for me". The amount of redundancy on this board is incredible. Newer posters asking questions with a similar threads on the first few pages, the rest of us answering it for the 100th time. Reduce the redundant clutter before worrying about a separate forum.

Yes you should. Reason being NC is such a varied place to live 3 sections that are not the same in topography or demographics. It is hard to get an idea about a state that has so much to choose from. Asheville and Wilmington have nothing in common other than that they are both part of the same state

I agree with this 100%. You get tired of answering the same questions over and over.

However, I think a coastal sub-forum would be good.
