Saw this on MSN.com. More on DrBeach.Org. I guess Dr. Beach is a tourism guru of beaches and rates beaches on several factors. This is the first time the # 1 slot wasn't given to a beach in Florida or Hawaii. For beach enthusiasts, I thought you might like to see this.

I must have missed last week's post about it.

I see why it was voted #1! Beautiful beach, great surroundings, lots to do!
Oh yeah, will definately be hitting up Oracoke (along with millions others now I'm sure) sometime this summer!
