T. Boone is dead, so maybe the refs won’t be as much of a factor?

Offense looks great, but it was just Rice. However they already faced their toughest defensive opponent of the season with LSU - and moved roughshod over them.
TO better get his secondary up to average levels, or the offense is going to have to really work hard to outscore everybody.

Oklahoma State coming into this game with the nation's leading rusher and leading receiver. Redshirt freshman QB is playing well. I think Texas will get a good read on how the defense actually is in this game.

On offense, a big game by Ehlinger could put him back in the spotlight for the Heisman with all the other QBs.

Ugly win, but at least the 4 game winning streak for the ‘Pokes is broken.
Their freshman QB is going to be a real player the next three seasons.

Was impressed with Texas' front and linebackers and thought the offensive line and RBs looked good.

They were very conservative in how they used Ehlinger IMO. Wide receivers did really well in spite of no Johnson.

I noticed that we had about 7 or 8 missed tackles. Started to scare me. If not for the 2 muffed punts this game could have be more like 38-20 or 24. Glad it's a Texas victory!! \m/

I'm quoting myself because Herman said this week that Ehlinger has been playing with a rib injury. It all makes sense now.

He has played injured half the time since his junior year in high school. If he goes down hard, then there goes the rest of the season.

Final Score: Texas 42, West Virginia 31

Props the the Mountaineers for playing better than i thought they would. Aside from Austin Kendall being one of our best players, they did show up to play.

Our secondary, though...holy hell. Fully expecting Jalen to do what he wants seemingly at will this week. Eh, regardless, it's BlowU hate week. Hook Em'! Hope for another great matchup in Dallas.
