Hell has frozen over. The Rangers are in the World Series, TCU is the best team in Texas, and Baylor is a good team.

Oh well, time for me to stop being a critic and just be a fan. Whatever happens in one season isn't going to change how I feel about Mack Brown or the Longhorns -- too much has been achieved over the past decade.

Now, as far as the other coaches, and after the season is over -- different story. But in the meantime, Hook 'em!

(It's humbling to learn what an A&M fan feels like every year)

I agree 100%. I tend to like coaches and programs and a losing season or losing a game makes no difference to me.

Having said that, I am actually happy for Baylor. Since I can remember back in the early 90s Baylor has been the step child.

AND even more so, since I went to K-State and witnessed their turnaround under Coach Bill Snyder, I know how it feels to be a part of a season where they finally get their due. And beating TX has to be a highlight of each one of those athlete's and student's lives.

It's just been an up and down season for almost all the Big XII. Teams seem to be psyched up for a big game, then let down the next week.

I blame Greg Davis. Our offense has been carried the last few seasons by excellent players (and not by good offensive play calling). Just watch a game and see how conservative his play calling is, now that we lost a lot of our talent-- his mind-numbing, idiotic play calling is starting to show.

There is no excuse to be in a national championship one year, and not end up being bowl eligible the next (it might happen). That is just absurd.

Fire Greg Davis. Put in Case McCoy.
Another embarrassing loss for Texas. =(

Yeah and Iowa State almost beat #7 Nebraska.
So at least we can say that the teams in the big 12 are considerably better this year than last year...
