The Big X(II) needs to worry more about addition instead of subtraction, if you ask me.

Who could they add at this point?

The ACC has its teams on lockdown with the GoR. And unless we can lure Arkansas (the Big XII already tried a time or two with Arkie) away from the SEC with more money per year on payout then it ain't happening....and convincing A&M to come back home is most likely a moot point now too, although if I was Bowlsby & the Big XII Administration I'd be smoozing A&M every chance I could get to bring 'em back. (I think 4-5 bad-mediocre years in the SEC could get the Hissies thinking about coming home.)

Bottom Line: There are not any other teams out there, with maybe the exception of BYU, that wouldn't be a financial liability. Realignment is over for the foreseeable future.

I'm with you, though. It would have been great to get Florida State/Clemson or even maybe Louisville, but that ship has sailed. Done deal.

Didn't stop them from getting TCU who had both feet in the (now defunct) Big East's door...

Just sayin', there's a way.

You think a team will come to another conference after signing away TV/media rights/revenue for the next several years? That ain't happening.

These GoR are serious business. No getting out of them....at least it appears that way.

Default Week 2

This week's result: TCU BEAT Southeast Louisiana: 38-17

2013 Season Record: (1-1)
2013 Conference Record: (0-0)
2013 Ranking: 24

... meh. Should have won by more. Looks like Trevone is forced to be THE starter once again.

Default Week 3

This week's result: TCU loses to Texas Tech: 20-10

2013 Season Record: (1-2)
2013 Conference Record: (0-1)
2013 Ranking: 24

That game was absolutely ridiculous. The game was sloppy for the most part, then TCU came back and made it a game in the 2nd half... then the refs just COMPLETELY stomped on any chance of the Frogs winning. I'm sorry. I'm not the type to blame the refs, but you and I know that there were FOUR big moments in that game for TCU, but the call went the other way, or NOT called at all.

Just pathetic.

Default Week 5

This week's result: TCU BEATS SMU: 48-17

2013 Season Record: (2-2)
2013 Conference Record: (0-1)
2013 Ranking: unranked

Offense wakes up in the 2nd half and blows out a team (and a hated rival) it SHOULD blow out. Good, but I'm getting sick of the offense sleeping during the 1st half.

Now the REAL season begins....

Default Week 6

This week's result: TCU loses to Oklahoma: 20-17

2013 Season Record: (2-3)
2013 Conference Record: (0-2)
2013 Ranking: unranked

I'm getting real sick of these no-shows in the 1st half. This offense seriously needs to pick it up.

Next Game: vs. Kansas

Should roll...just don't sleepwalk in the first quarter like Tech did.
