Coaches poll comes out at beginning of August, AP won't be out until later in the month.
For those of you who can't wait until late August for football to come back, there's always NFL preseason to fill you in until then.
Hopefully, the Longhorns' offense gets better, although i have little faith in Tim Beck. And with that, here's my preseason Top 25.

With the exception of Georgia and Alabama, it sure is difficult to pick a top 10 or top 20 but I think your top 25 is certainly a good start. I think the Penn State QB, Trace McSorley, can take Penn State pretty far.

Georgia and Alabama are going to have interesting seasons at quarterback...
It is nice to be Bama and have two great QBs to choose between for starter. I watched them practice this weekend, and both Jalen and Tua looked strong. I think the whole issue is getting to Jalen though, so Tua seems to have the edge.
Too early to tell. I don't like looking at the polls until mid-season chiefly because, for the most part, they are little more than a ranking of SID departments and their ability to pimp their schools.

So will Clemson for that matter. They have a decent QB who took them to the Playoff last year and a stud freshman right on his heels.
I think Georgia has the toughest dilemma on its hands of the 3 schools. Clemson has it easiest since Kelly Bryant is a senior. Their new guy will at the very least get some reps this year and will be almost guaranteed to start next season. Hurts likely has 2 more years at Alabama, but I think Tua is good enough to beat him out for the job.
Fromm/Fields is a tough one though. Fromm is only a sophomore and led his team to the NC game. It would be hard to see Justin Fields getting the starting job over him barring injury or extremely poor play. Will he be willing to sit and wait his turn? Or if Georgia decides to bench Fromm, will that turn off future recruits at that position? It's a good problem to have.
I would hope that Fromm will start. He did everything, and then some, that was asked of him. In the Rose Bowl, he was super clutch in an environment that would have made others fold. I understand Fields is a very highly rated QB but so was Fromm when he got recruited. And given Fromm's track record, I see no reason not to start him.
As far as Alabama, I can't see anyone but Tua starting and Jalen coming in for certain designed plays.
He doesn't have a choice. If not for Tua, no way does Bama win that game against Georgia. In fact, they really shouldn't have won either way except for the awful offsides call that negated a blocked kick/punt.
