What I noticed was a number of the top teams didn't play as good as they should have been. They may of won convincingly in the end but some stats in the game really stood out. I am thinking more this could be a season like 2007 with large numbers of upsets if they don't fix their problems.
Wisconsin and Cal also aren't afraid to underacheive
LOLs. I forgot about them. Wisconsin has a bad habit of playing at the level of the competition.
Notre Dame, Oregon State and that team from Ann Arbor are classic underachievers also.
I guess I can't really say the Boise St Donkeys are underachievers. They beat who they play. The WACs record against the other conferences is so bad it is impossible to tell how good the Donks are from week to week. They are a Top 30 team though.

As much as I dislike OSU, I flat out disagree. Do you follow recruiting? Oregon State gets mainly 2-3 star players and every year, they produce some solid athletes. Putting them into the same recruiting class as ND and Michigan is like comparing a Honda with BMWs and Mercedes. They normally have a good defensive line and Riley does seem to develop players. Not to mention Oregon State begins the year ranked somewhere between 20-25 and finishes about there. I actually think they tend to overachieve with the talent they get recruiting wise.
2) Boise State--impressive to go 2500 miles, and beat a very talented team.
3) Oregon
4) Iowa
5) Ohio State
6) Miami
7) Oklahoma--fell asleep, but they survived.
8) Arkansas
9) TCU--I think Oregon State is pretty good.
10) Virginia Tech--I won't knock a team out of the top 10 for scheduling Boise. They almost one the game...and as the year goes on they should gel more.
If you take out their one championship year each, over the last decade.
Ohio State and Oklahoma, with the edge to Ohio State
Are you saying by Ohio State and Oklahoma each winning one title they are underachievers?
Exactly how many titles does a team need to win in a 10 year period to not be underachievers?
