By the way, thus far.... Boise State has the highest Sagarin schedule ranking of any of the top 10 programs. Click here.

Make of it what you will (and granted, that will fall as the season goes on), but it is what it is for the first 3 weeks of the season.

That said... for week 3:

1. Alabama
2. Boise State / Oregon / Nebraska
5. Ohio State / TCU
7. Oklahoma
8. Utah
9. Texas
10. South Carolina

I think the top 6, Alabama aside, are far too close to call.

Boise State is a joke. If they want to whine and cry about a playoff, go down to FCS. All they did was beat a TERRIBLE VTech team.

Right.

And they beat Wyoming at Wyo worse than Texas beat Wyoming in Austin.

So what you're saying is that ranking teams is pointless until the end of the season because the standards are completely arbitrary to begin with (eg, I don't like that team therefore they must be a joke).

I see.

(By the way... you'll NEVER hear Boise State "whine about a playoff." Ever. Coach Pete has maintained time and time again that the BCS "has been good for us" and that he believes things work out. On the other hand, you do hear many other teams, including AQ teams, endorse a playoff)

TCU would slaughter Arizona, Florida and Arkansas.

Based on your logic James Madison would beat Boise State.

No one is accusing Boise State's coach of whining for a playoff. It's you fans who are whining. See your posts on the Boise State thread as reference; "our budget's too small...it's our little stadium...it's our conference...everyone's scared of us...they won't pay us enough...it's the BCS...whaaahhhhhh"

Typo, I listed Nebraska twice. TCU is #9 on my list.
