- Change from "Big Ten" to "Midwest 12"
- Name one divison "Heartland" and the other "Bread Basket"
That is actually MUCH better in my opinion, JJG. The Big 10 should not hold on to the "Big 10" +1 traditional moniker....needs to change to include the number 12 somehow. "Midwest 12" is the most descriptive and clearest title I've seen yet.

but what if they expand to Rutgers or Syracuse or Virginia as has been rumoured?
I think the whole thing is just messed up. Leader and Legends? they just should've done EAST and WEST , it works for the SEC and Big 12. All they've really done is say we're a conference of Michigan and Ohio State. It just reinforces that mindset in the national spotlight.

With TCU and most likely UCF moving to the Big Ten, I doubt that's gonna happen...
Sure it should be East/West, but if they keep the teams in the divisions they're in, then go with what I said.
Do you mean Big East? Rutgers, Syracuse or Pitt will leave the Big East in a heartbeat if the Big 10 comes knocking.
I don't think Pitt would....
