Sadly, I am afraid so. I am especially bummed about the old Big 8 teams which have had relationships and history going back over a 100 years splitting apart. I wonder if this was inevitable or whether the Big 12 commissioner screwed up somehow. I don't know, but as a Kansas Jayhawk fan, I am bummed about where we may end up. I don't like the idea of the teams having to travel halfway across the country to the east coast for conference games.
