Thanks! Last year they made it to the playoffs this year I'm hoping they take the national title. First time in years any foitball team in Colorado has done that....

Saturday is the next game as #1 CSU Pueblo travels to Grand Junction to play Colorado Mesa University. I suspect it will be another easy win for the Pack and I will post the score after the game....

Kickoff is in 30 minutes so I was looking up articles about CSU Pueblo's football team and I found this article from Denver. They contrasted Pueblo's season to CU Buffalo's who lost by a lot today. I liked how they admit that Pueblo is representing Colorado this season in football....

This is from Mile Hi Sports:

The current head coach of the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves, John Wristen, has led the ThunderWolves to an undefeated 8-0 record and 6-0 record in the RMAC. Wristen’s ThunderWolves are currently the number one ranked Division II football program in the Nation. But while the landscape is vastly different for the ThunderWolves, Wristen thinks it’s not time to panic yet for the Colorado Buffaloes.

Under the leadership of Wristen, CSU-Pueblo is on track for another playoff berth. Maybe college football isn’t dead in Colorado after all.

Talking Pueblo number 1

As suspected CSU Pueblo remains the number 1 football team in the nation!!!!!!!!

This is from the division 2 coaches' poll:

The top three spots remained the same, with Colorado State-Pueblo staying No. 1 with 24 first-place votes. Winston-Salem State (N.C.) still sits No. 2, with six first-place votes, followed by No. 3 New Haven (Conn.).

#1 CSU Pueblo is hosting New Mexico Highlands in a very important conference game tomorrow at 2. I suspect that if Pueblo can win the game it will cement our place as the number 1 team in the nation and #1 in the regional rankings going into the playoffs. That would give Pueblo a bye the first week and home field advantage the second game.

I will be at the game and will post pictures and a video on Monday.......

GO PUEBLO!!!!!!
