Great article from the Denver Post about the coach of CSU Pueblo John Wristen so I decided to post it.

This is from the Denver Post:

PUEBLO — John Wristen is a Pueblo guy. Among other confirmations, the Colorado State-Pueblo football coach can recommend the best places to go to have a "slopper" — the Pueblo delicacy, essentially a smothered Mexican hamburger in a bowl. His high school and college diplomas are from Pueblo South High School and the University of Southern Colorado, and he was a standout quarterback at both.

Despite all that, Wristen confesses he probably didn't sufficiently grasp the unique character of the steel-mill city until after he returned in 2007, leaving the UCLA coaching staff to become CSU-Pueblo's head coach a year before the renamed school's revived program played its first game.

This is a great catch by CSU Pueblo last weekend in Dallas. In my opinion this is a NFL type catch.

I just found that the receiver is DeVaughn and after four years at CU he transferred to CSU-Pueblo for his final year of eligibility. This is great news for the Pack and you can tell he is making a big impact on the team.

I did not post any pictures but CSU Pueblo won last weekend and remained 5th in the national polls. Today they play @ Adams State in what should be a easy win.

As I suspected it was a easy win. 48-7 Pueblo!

# 5 CSU-Pueblo beat Fort Lewis 35-3 to stay undefeated (5-0) last Saturday. Next week they travel to Chadron Nebraska and this should be a more difficult game. However I still predict a Pueblo win!

What was the score last time they played?

Edit, I got it. It was 45-38 last year at home.

Hope csu don't get beat in this one. They better bring it.

After the Chadron St. game, they are a thee touchdown favorite in their remaining games ... until the playoffs.

Maybe they can set up a quick game with NM State. (g)

It will be a difficult game but giving how Pueblo is playing this year, even beating division 1 UNC at Greeley, I think Pueblo will come out ahead.
