Man the SEC has been completly dominant this season going 8-2 and hopefully 9-2 , we were 7-5 last year. The only let down was the Gators. If you are going to loose then loose fighting like TX A&M did. For the whole season I have read that the SEC has no offense by fans of other conferences specifically the BIG 12. Well this bowl season proves that the SEC does not lack offense were just a defense heavy conference. Great job SEC even those who fell short !

I once listened to a radio show down here in South Carolina (and by once I mean like 2 months ago) who said the only people rooting for the SEC are fans of SEC teams who are irrelevant. They like to tie the accomplishments of the league to their own team in hopes it'll make their own horrible team look not so horrible. BTW, this local sports talk show is a haven for the Clemson tigers so most of the guy's talk was directed towards South Carolina fans who like to scream "SEC!!!" when their own team is well horrible.
I like last year's post-game speech by Urban Meyer. He said we did it for the state of Ohio, the fans, the school and most importantly of all each other. At no point did he say "we won this for the big ten". TOSU and Meyer could give a rip about the big ten. Just like Bama and Saban give a rip about the SEC.
You think Saban and those guys are playing for Vandy or Miss St. on January 11th? If you think they are then you are high!
1 ) I'm a Bama fan so I don't fall into the category of your first paragraph and neather does Ole Miss and other SEC teams with good conference records "Domiant" bowl wins at that.
Also the lowly South Carolina gave North Carolina their first lost before Clemson and was an inch away from taking Clemson out of the play-offs.So they may be irrelevant in the SEC but they would be dominant in the ACC and probably would be 4th behind tOSU , Mich , and Mich State easy.
So the nerve of that " local talk radio" for bashing the lowly Gamecocks for their chant but they were an inch from an upset yeah what ever.
And if we beat Clemson the Natty would be for the state and conference. I'm From Mobile and I know AJ and his family personally when Bama won past ships it was not just for the state but we represented our conference just as well.
