Big props to the SEC for their week 1 schedule. Some fantastic match ups. Gotta give credit where credit is due on that one.

Week 2 and Week 12 are just typical SOP for the SEC. Gotta get those brutal FCS games in.

Will be interesting to see an SEC team have to travel outside of the Southeast for a neutral site game when LSU heads up to Wisconsin.

They should move to a 9 game conference schedule like the Big Ten is doing. That way teams play teams for the other division more often.

Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, South Carolina, and Texas A&M all playing cupcakes the week before rivalry week. That is ridiculous. No Power 5 team should be playing cupcakes that late in the season unless the game was postponed earlier in the season due to weather or whatever.

The SEC should ban playing FCS schools like the Big 10 did.

That is why A&M particularly will never be taken seriously. The Gag'Mes Love to play schools like UTSA and Prarie View because it increases the win record, but they can;t go up against schools like Auburn or Alabama and win.
Cannot say it causes a total loss of respect, because I never respected the Gaggies anyway, but perhaps they should move to Conference USA or the Mountain West?

I will continue to skip the SEC on CBS until they get rid of Verne Lundquist.
