LSU beats Bama and wins out finishing at 9-2.
Bama, after the LSU loss, wins out thus finishing at 11-1.
LSU is SEC West champ due to both Bama and LSU tied with 1 conference loss and LSU holding the H2H tie breaker.
LSU goes on to win SEC championship game.
Does the committee choose a 2 loss SEC Champ LSU over a one loss Bama?

Yes, they put a premium on Conference Championships... and they'd have the head to head. They'd also take into account the improvement after the coaching change.
Still too many other things to consider: Do Louisville or Clemson win the ACC? Does West Virginia finish unbeaten? How about Washington? Who wins The Game, and does the winner of that beat Nebraska/Wiscy in the Big 10 Title game? So tough to say what they would do with a 2 loss LSU vs. a 1 loss Bama. In a perfect world they'd take neither (Alabama didn't even win their division much less conference) while LSU is a 2 loss team and there could be 3, 4, maybe even 5+ teams with 1 loss or fewer, so I can't justify selecting them either, but we all know this isn't a perfect world. IF West Virginia & Washington end up unbeaten I'd take BOTH of them as 2 of my 4, SOS be damned, undefeated is undefeated! Is it there fault Stanford, UCLA, Texas & Oklahoma State all sucked?? For the other 2 if Clemson wins the ACC (and doesn't lose another game) they'd be my 3rd, and if Michigan beats Ohio State and wins the Big 10 championship, they'd be my 4th. Still a lot of factors in the 5 weeks or so until the selections as a lot of things can play out between now and December 3.
Not sure what you mean about Clemson not losing another game.. They haven't lost one yet. You generally have to lose one before you can lose another.
Louisville has basically no chance to win the ACC. They have a H2H loss to Clemson, so, Clemson would have to lose 2 ACC games out of 4 left with FSU, Syracuse, Wake Forest and Pitt. Losing to FSU is a possibility.
But.. The OPs scenario could EASILY apply to the ACC as well.. Clemson goes undefeated, loses to North Carolina in the ACC Championship.. Louisville wins out.
Now.. Who goes from the ACC, if anyone? North Carolina is a 2 loss team, but is ACC Champion. Clemson is a 1 loss team that beat Louisville.. Louisville is a 1 loss team that didn't even play for the ACC Championship.
