Okay. So I watched it. Still looks like something that shouldve been measured. The network's yellow line isnt official.
The ball is prespotted in overtime at the 25. The nose of the ball at the 25 the other side of the ball on toward the 26. So to get a first down the ball has to reach the 15 yard line (actually just break the plane of the 15). If the ball is spotted with the nose across the 15 (like it was) there is no need to measure
<<When one of the hosts made a joke about Notre Dame, Finebaum then turned it back to the Wolverines and unleashed on Michigan and its fans for having a sense of entitlement that he believes became worse when the school hired Jim Harbaugh....
Finebaum took another shot at Harbaugh, saying he lost the "biggest game of the year" and then blamed the officiating. He said he feels sorry for the families of the officials in Michigan's upcoming Orange Bowl game because Harbaugh is already "researching them, trying to find someone to blame if the game doesn't go his way.">>
This is 2 years in a row that Harbaugh's team blew it on one play. Last year they could have made it to the college championship series if that kicker didn't hand the ball off to Michigan State for that end of game touchdown. This year they couldn't stop Ohio State on 4th and one. That was their missed ticket to the college championship series.
