^^ That was Vince Young's game winning touchdown in that game.

Also Wolverine fans might remember Appalation State upseting Michigan in 2007.

I'm not a Michigan fan ( Arkansas State of the Sun Belt conference fan )
Yet, every time I see the words "Appalachian State " I think of that football upset of 9 years ago.

That is exactly what I am getting at. Appalachian State pulled an upset of the Wolverines in 2007.

How about the USC/Notre Dame game. Or should I say "The Bush Push" game!!

Not to show my age but the 1974 USC/Notre Dame game in which Notre Dame had like a 24 to 7 lead at half time and SC scored 35 3rd quarter points to route Notre Dame 56 to 24!! as an SC fan, that was pretty memorable.

Anthony Davis went crazy that game and should've won the Heisman IMO. But by then, most writers already had voted for Archie Griffin.

Had they waited one more day to vote, some writers had confessed that one game may have swayed to vote for Anthony Davis.

Ok, so I am a USC homer!! LOL

Mike Leach must have given one heck of a halftime pep talk because despite trailing 35-7 at halftime ( and trailing 38-7 with 7:47 left in the 3rd quarter ) Texas Tech got a 52 yard field goal at the end of regulation to tie and won in overtime 44-41.
He said that they could make history. Sure enough... (TCU tied that bowl comeback record in the last Alamo Bowl.)

Since 2011, Tech has rolled out the red carpet for several other teams to make history playing against it.

Longhorns national championship over USC about 10 yrs ago came to mind first.

Being from Iowa I won't soon forget the ass whooping that Stanford laid on the Hawkeyes in the rose bowl last year.
