The best part of tonight's game? The Bama lovefest will be reduced to background noise for a while.

All the best to the Clemson team and their fans, that was a helluva game.

I hated the ESPN broadcast; one third of the screen was taken up by two sets of motor mouths who were simply insufferable and detracted from the game. Never seen that before and it was awful.

Whoever picked Clemson are winners. Alabama beat Clemson two years ago but this time it was Clemson that beats Alabama.

Alabama needs to get a real QB. They've skated by too long relying almost exclusively on their running game.

Even Pitt scored more points against Clemson than Alabama!

Absolutely! However, the offense needs a whole lot of work!

I told all the OSU fans they needed to worry about Hunter Renfrow. Alabama didn't give him his proper respect either and got torched.

And, one of the few from either team who probably won't be in the NFL. These two Championship games will likely be the absolute highlights of his football career..

98 offensive plays by Clemson.. I don't care how good your defense is.. Their tongues were going to be dragging.

Watson avoided the turnovers (The fumble, but, mainly talking about not throwing any picks) and brought it home.

Whoever mentioned the '06 game and the star power on that field.. I think you'll be saying the same thing about tonights game.

Unfortunately.. Watson may have played good enough to earn him a spot on the Cleveland Browns roster.

I'm shocked there were as many points scored as there were. I would have bet the under, which, at the time was 54 and I think was down to 51 by game time.

I don't know if he'll be drafted but he definitely has a pro career IMO. He would be effective as a Wes Welker/Edelman-type slot WR. He has good hands and runs his routes precisely. That combination is more rare than you would believe.
