I don't know why people hype up Ohio State-Michigan so much. It's been a very lopsided rivalry the last 20 years. OSU is 17-3 vs. Michigan in this stretch. Michigan hasn't won in Columbus since 2000.
Ohio State also just firmed up their playoff spot. At worst they'll be 12-1 after a Big Ten title game loss to a quality team in either Wisconsin or Minnesota.

The 70s were much more even. Nowadays, it's a mismatch. Michigan may as well be Western Michigan when they play Ohio State in football. To be fair, there are other sports Michigan still excels in - just not football as of late.
Speaking of crazy---the last 5 minutes of the first half in the Alabama/Auburn game is absolutely crazy. 31-24 at the half, 45 total points in the 2nd quarter alone, 35 points in the last 5 minutes of the first half---yikes!!
ADD-52 yard field goal with one second on the clock--with a replay regarding the time!
31-27 at the half!
Another add----100 yard interception return by Auburn
In regards to Michigan/Ohio State: it’s not a rivalry when 1 team consistently beats the other. And these games aren’t even competitive either. In the last 8 games Michigan lost I think only 2 have been decided by a single possession.

Well, yesterday, Virginia snapped a 15 game losing streak to Virginia Tech.
This Alabama/Auburn game reminds of the Big 12, with little to no defense, I don't know what the over/under was, but I would think the people who picked over got an easy win!
Oh, and good thing PJ Fleck signed that contract extension before he played Iowa and Wisconsin, strike while the iron was hot before you don't even make it to the Big 10 Championship game, hopefully he also got one of those huge guaranteed buyouts if everything goes down with the row-row-row the boat.
Can we say that Alabama is done and out of the BCS this year? Please, Santa?
There is no BCS anymore, it's the CFP!
So if Georgia wins their next 3 games including the National Championship, does South Carolina get a little mini trophy, stating they were the only team to beat them this year?

The whole damn game was wild and bizarre.
But, there is something fitting in that it comes down to a missed kick. If you were Alabama, wouldn't you have recruited a good kicker after the past.. How many years is it their kicking game has blown? Feels like 20.
Clemson had a pretty crappy string of kickers for a while. Not in the playoff era.. But I remember.. I think it was Jad Dean.. He actually played indoor football for the local team here. Couldn't hit a FG to save his life, but he could kick the ball the entire field.
Potter is flaky, but he'd be Alabama's leading kicker.
And yes.. I see no way after that performance that Alabama can make it. The New Years Day bowl is questionable.. What i'd pay for them to be in the Birmingham Bowl..
The biggest question right now. I think LSU and Ohio State can lose and still get in. Clemson must beat Virginia. So, then it becomes.. Who gets #4?
I suspect it'll be Utah or Oklahoma.
