Amazing. Congrats in order to Herm Edwards and Arizona State. This was a "lock" for State. The games are played for a reason.

Spartans found an amazing number of ways to lose. Both teams have great defense.

Congrats to ASU. This Spartan is hoping for a spark of energy from D’Antonio and the offense next week.

I am from Arizona but went to undergraduate college in the midwest then ASU afterwards for graduate school. I was surprised that ASU won at Michigan State. It's a tough road victory. The mental blunder has got to sting for that Spartan offense right now - note the fans and surrender cobra stance. I remember when the Spartans won by surprise against Michigan a few years ago at the last second. Last night the tables were turned.

Honestly, the conference games are key. ASU now has to face a daunting Pac-12 schedule. They are not favored in the south division. But who knows? Maybe they can come up with another surprise.

ASU almost always has a very competitive football team. They're a handful even for favored opponents.
