Damn. OU didnt get that last touchdown to make it 72.

A special mini badge of honor should go to the TT elf. Way to show crabtree how to catch the ball. lol.

Oklahoma was very impressive on both side of the line. Looks to be the best balanced team in college football. There only problem is that they loss to Texas on a neutral field which makes it like either Oklahoma or Texas against Missouri. Tech blowout proably drops them out of the race for BCS championship game.

Not according to http://web1.ncaa.org/mfb/2008/Intern...games_cumm.pdf

Georiga is first with Texas second. Don't get how they get some of those teams SOS though.

give me a break. looks to be the best balanced team in college football? after 1 game of disrupting system tech? what about the 7000 yards of offense they gave up to powerhouse kansas state? sorry, but oklahoma still has no defense, or special teams. they are not balanced.

And even though they lost to us they will be ahead of us in the poll. We beat them by 10 points and lose on the last second, but why should we be ranked higher.

I am not sure OU will be ranked higher. I wouldn't count on it. texas beat them on a neutral field. OU still gave up like 400 yards. texas tech has no defense, and they can't play outside lubbock.

I think what will hurt us is we had all of our big games during that 4 week stretch. We only have A&M left. Ou plays a ranked Ok St next week and should win giving them more style points. Think if Florida beat Bama in week 5 by 10 points but then lost to say LSU, then Bama crushed LSU. Would you not agree that Florida is the better team because you beat Bama?

When it all comes down to it shouldnt the fact that Texas beat OU be given more strength than OU beating a team Texas lost to, on the road, in the last second?

The other thing to consider is that this is College football and the rankings are not much more than a popularity poll. So much of what goes into the BCS standings is not scientific, just opinion. Unless every team plays every other team there's no good measurement.
