Alright listening to ESPN radio they have been talking about this alot. he has not really done anything with his players and they just lost to Syracuse. Thoughts
I think the jack who signed him to his huge 10 year contract in the middle of his first year should be fired!! At this point, they can't afford to pay him for his 7 years remaining on his contract (around 12 million bones) to get rid of him. With that said, I do think he sucks!
P.S. They do have a new AD so he'll be back for another year I bet.

I agree, why did they sign him when we proved nothing. It seems the success he had was with Willingham's players.

ND made a mistake by firing Willingham before giving him the chance to really turn things around.
After winning coach of the year for ND in 2002 you think they would have given him at least three more years to turn things around, but I think the color of his skin played a role in his quick release in 2004. Charlie (Brown) Weis is doing a much worse job so I expect him to be fired after the season is over.

It was amazing because Willingham showed just as much as Weis in his first year but did not get the same lengthy extension. Then the year Weis takes over that team they go 9-2 and play in a BCS game. Lead by a QB Willingham recruited along with several other key players.
