NFL = Qwest Field , Seahawks
College = Husky U of Washington (seating capacity of 72K fans)
I have to agree with Qwest. When I first say this thread that was the first one that popped into my head. As for other nice ones in the nfl how bout Raymond James (Tampa) and University of Pheonix(I think that's what it's called,Arizona). For college I have to say Tigers stadium(LSU), The Swamp(Florida), and Doak Campbell(FSU).
Qwest Field in Seattle ..... great game day environment, very loud, great sightlines, concessions, etc
my college team now plays in dolphin stadium, which is whatever for a college environment ........ my university didn't have a team, however I did enjoy walking down to franklin field for the occasional game and trips out to beaver stadium were fun (although I hate ............ penn state!)
Beaver Stadium home of the Penn State Nittany Lions...cool stadium...it was originally at the other side of campus, then moved and has been continually expanded. It was so cool when they "jacked" the stadium up to install more seating and then the double decking. It is aesthetically balanced but could have a better facade; seating over 106,000 fans does not hurt either and fans can do the wave for 15 minutes to a half hour.
Home field advantage: some teams have it, some teams don't. When Oklahoma at Baylor, there's more red in the stands than green. On the other hand, few visiting teams survive a trip to LSU, Ohio State and Oregon - often because of the advantage home teams can have with their fans.

Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Va., doesn't blow people away by the brute strength of a massive stadium, but with knowledgeable fans that always reach a frenzied pitch at the right time, the Hokies make the most of their numbers.
Every good stadium has at least one end designed for deafening noise levels, and the enclosed South End Zone at Lane Stadium fits the bill perfectly. Holding more than 11,000 screaming Virginia Tech fans, the section amplifies noise and renders audibles useless. That's not to mention the isolation factor. With the nearest major airport nearly 45 minutes away, opponents' fans are never out in force at Lane Stadium.
The X-factor: Beamer Ball
The hard-nosed Hokies are never outhustled. With the most intense special teams unit in college football year-in and year-out -- not to mention the defense's penchant for scoring points -- there's never a dull moment at a game in Blacksburg.

It's interesting to see some teams with awesome home game experiences, like Tennessee, West Virginia & Michigan, missing the list. That said, outside of Auburn, it's hard to argue with anyone that did make the list.

^^^^lol @ 66,000 fans and an ACC team with no tradition. I would argue that tech doesn't even have the best home field advantage in the ACC. clemson does.

Not bad for a program with no tradition
The number of seats in a stadium does not equate to having a tradition or having a home field advantage. One of the loudest games I have ever attended (College or Pro) was at a Navy home game against Rutgers last season. The stadium holds only about 30,000.
