USC always has a really good defense, thats just how good of a coach Pete Carroll is. He reloads his defensive better then any coach in college football. It's just really hard to beat a USC team in California when Carroll and his staff have 4 weeks to prepare. I could see Penn State beating a team like CAl though.

After USC losing to Washington last weekend....Cal may be the team to represent the Pac 10 in the Rose Bowl....but the season is young yet....and we already had some surprises....

My heart says Ohio State, but my brain says Penn State. Going with my brain this season.

The conference is probably a toss-up between OSU and PSU, but I voted PSU since they get the buckeyes at home this year.

I agree, but you never know with the Big Ten and Michigan may dsurprise everyone this year....BUT my heart and brain say Penn State; assuming they play up to their potential.
