We're midway through the 09 season and the hot seating is heating up for many coaches. Among BCS schools the following jobs could be available: Texas A & M, Colorado, Virginia, Illinois, Purdue, Louisville, and Washington State

Which coaches do you see getting hired and fired this off season?

Sherman at A&M...warm, but he'll be around next year. That's a hell of a buyout that the school can't afford right now. I swear they pulled a loan to buy out Franny. Either way, he owes Pirate Coach Mike Leach a gift card.

Everyone else on the list will (or should be) gonzo. Groh might hang on IF UVA finishes okay. Being another lemming that went with the spread just because everyone else does it and not because the personnel are there (they're not) didn't help matters.

Hope at Purdue might win some allies with the win over OSU and over Ron Zook's soon-to-be ex- employer helps.

Does Mike Locksley get the axe at New Mexico for the trouble he's been in so far? Nevermind that he's going with the spread as well, with Rocky Long's option personnel still around--not looking good.

Fridge could be out sooner than later at Maryland.

Briles' honeymoon is over at Baylor.

Sanford is out at UNLV as they have taken a serious step back.

Bring in Al Bundy. After all, he played high school football.

UVA is supposed to officially announce Mike London as the coach today. Decent hire for them as he has ties to the VA tidewater region, should create a little more competition for VT to snag players out of that pipeline.

One of these teams should pick up Tommy Tuberville, he did some good things at Auburn and was a good coach. He hasn't been picked up yet has he?
