I can't answer you question, but I don't want a physician who completed residency in some crap hole country. I am sure there are a few first rate hospitals in SA, but most people's reaction is going to be negative. The more important question is why you don't want to do your residency in the U.S.? Foreign doctors come here to learn and see things they can't see in their country, so why don't you want the best education possible?

Generally graduates for foreign medical schools must still pass the boards and complete a residency in the US to practice in the US and be licensed. Licensure is a state process so of course every state sets their own rules, and there might be one or two that would let you practice without completing a residency. But I know of none.

If you want to practice in the US, you must do residency here. Also, not all states accept foreign medical school credentials so you need to figure out where you can practice before residency match. Good luck.

I would also be concerned with a "degree" from Kaplan for your "med school" courses. That isn't something that will be very widely accepted here to get a residency or a job. It's kind of like saying you have a masters degree from the University of Phoenix online school.
