I'm currently majoring in psychology and want to counsel abused children and those with emotional problems as a play therapist. Do I need to get a MSW, Masters in Counseling, PhD, or PsyD? What are the requirements to become one?
There are also a few schools that teach psycho-drama, which is very interesting. Many people who have degrees in social work, counseling, do "play therapy" with children. But there are also speciality degree in play therapy.
