Obviously that's what I'm looking for but I was looking at SUNy schools so you can get an idea of price ranges.... my question in addition to the actual thread is how far from my ideal budget should I be looking at ... Like if I can afford on my own 20k a year, should I look at schools that cost 30k because of grant and merit money as well as scholarships??

I would like to be in NYC, or at the most 4 hours from NYC NOT staten or long island, and preferably a school with on campus housing. I'm sorry if this seems like a lot but I'm just starting to look into colleges and I have NO idea where to start!
