So to try and make a long story short, I have had friends from nearby towns come and go. We shall call them friends from city A and friends from city B.

city A friends and city B friends will not be around come Fall. However friends from my hometown or Town A friends will be around.

However, I had a rough time getting from college 1 to college 4. Not academically, and not financially, but everything else. People passing away, etc....

I now have two friends from city C which is where the college is.

So my questions are, even though I am commuting 30 minutes to the city where the college is, should I should I still make friends in that city?

Also, I will be interning for a year in the city where the college is and 70% of students who intern there usually end up going to work there. The 30% who don't end up staying usually chose to go get a job somewhere else.

I have also decided to attend a church singles group in the city where the college is. I think a girlfriend (hopefully future wife) would be good at this point.

Am I smart to start looking 2 yrs before i graduate and have a job for a wife?

I spoke with an academic advisor, and she says I should be out in 2 yrs as long as I don't fail anything and I am a good student who doesnt fail classes.

The other thing is, it is hard for me to let go of my hometown friends, and to let go of anything in general. Does this pain go away and how do I make it go away?

After my 2 yrs at college my plan though is to take on the job I'd been interning for, get married, meet new friends, and settle my life in that new city. In hopes of forgetting the past.
