My daughter (junior in high school) is interested in the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, travel). Along with Cornell, what colleges should we consider?

Here's a list.
Johnson & Wales appears as #20 on that list, but when I was working in the industry (we sold an application for group housing management) there were an awful lot of J&W alum we dealt with among our customer base (hotel chains, CVBs), perhaps 2nd or 3rd behind only Cornell & FDU.

UNLV. Cornell.
UNLV is nice because of the tremendous amount of exposure to all types of jobs in the industry.

There is a small college in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. called Paul Smiths College. Don"t underestimate that particular college.....They have an excellent Hotel Management/Culinary program...Their graduates can hold their own....anywhere !

College of Charleston in S.C has an excellent program as does University of SC, but Charleston is way better since its a very popular destination amongst tourist. She would get a much better experience there.
