So get into some controversial stuff with the interview. Ask them how they deal with sexual misconduct. Ask them what their understanding is of the principle of fiduciary trust as it applies to clergy. Ask them about the status of women in their denomination. Do some research in advance, and find some topics to needle them on.

Unless the questions have been written for you, an interview is as "elementary" or as "advanced" as the interviewer wants it to be. It takes some skill to make a good interview.
You should have asked if you could ask other questions in place of it...your professor probably would have agreed.

So....do the questions, and then add your own. If you fulfill the basic requirements of the assignment, you can do anything you want in addition to that. (Another trick for making assignments interesting. Meet the requirements, then embellish.)

Yeah, it's not the professor. He has to follow a set curriculum. Once I have my core credits, I will transfer to a university. It gets frustrating, so it's nice to vent. Thanks for "listening".

A decent college would be challenging. Why would someone go to a college that is beneath their highschool learning? The purpose of academia is to further education.
