+1. I see college grads rack up 30-40k for cars, all the time. Cars wear out. A college degree doesn't.
Lol, sure it does. How relevant would a bachelors from 1975 be today? Sure some things stay the same but some things don't. With constantly changing, updating, and re-arranging markets and ever changing technology how would that 1975 degree match up to a degree in 2013? The needs of an employer would probably be different to even say 10 years ago.

Seriously? Go look up the median income for older college graduates.

College isn't job training. It is intended to teach you how to think. You don't appear to get that distinction.

According to your figure, it jumps up at most 10K for all college graduates with bachelor degrees vs the 25-34 demographic you always jumps to. Just look for any thread that you and I had this discussion in or the proof. As i said in the above post, I am not going to beat my head against the wall again.
We have had this talk before and with underemployment, stagnant wages, slashed jobs, lower pay, it is not as slam dunk as you say it is.
We have. I showed you how wages have only moved down slightly for 25-34 year olds over recession and recovery years. The median wage is still higher than your 40k debt figure.
