I did a quick google search and found several programs for a PhD in neuroscience. Make sure you brush up on your research skills before you start your program.
There are lots of neuroscience programs, just google. But the field itself is interdisciplinary in nature, so you can major in other things and still get at the same type of work. Usually some combination of psychology and biology (or say, cellular biology, mollecular biology), or brain & cognition programs... something like that gets you in the ballpark. It really just depends on what end of neuroscience you are interested in. Do you know what you want to zero in on?
I'm just wondering...if one is to take a Ph.D. in neuroscience, what's the name for it?
When I'm choosing what Ph.D. I want, I can't find neuroscience in any list. Are there some other terms for it?
have you finished your undergrad already and are asking this?
