Are you looking for a medical school? If so, you're putting the cart before the horse. You have to get the undergrad degree first.

^ this

That HS student is not likely going straight to Med School.

Are you asking about undergrads with strong science programs? A lot of premeds at UPenn choose to go the BBB route:

Are you referring to a combined bachelors/MD program?

Albany Medical College, which is about 3 hours from North Jersey, has a bachelors/MD program where you attend 4 years at either RPI, Union College, or Siena College and then go straight to AMC without needing to take the MCAT.

Brooklyn College and CUNY City College have programs where you take all your bachelors/MD class requirements within 4 or 5 years and then attend the last two years doing clinicals at medical college in New York State.

Brooklyn College Coordinated B.A./M.D. Program

CUNY City College Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education

I'm sure there are other programs, but I don't know which school have them off hand.

Default Dilemma...my husband and i know nothing about mcats and the requirements....daughter wants to me a medical coronor...

Not sure about the MCAtS and all the things discussed in this forum.....This is why I am reaching out.......Want to give child the best advantage as far as directions to go...I would hire someone to help guide her........school counselors are frankly no help..... Daughter a bright girl.......studies hard, takes school seriously as well as her being a volunteer ems for the last couple of years.........Not sure what these mcats are, not sure what kind of schooling she needs to get into a medical school.......A very overwhelmed parent..........What child wants is a smaller school setting because she says she wants more one on one as opposed to being to signing into class with a clicker that takes attendance that she was in the lecture hall for her class

MCATS are standardized tests required for admission into Med School: https://www.aamc.org/students/applying/mcat/

Please have her speak with a career counselor or maybe even a rep from some undergraduate schools she's interested in.
