Withdraw just means you need to have a good reason.

I've withdrawn from a few courses. I was battling depression, and then my mom had a stroke on a friday. On monday morning, my Grandma died. If anyone asks, thats why.

I need to change my transcript on a class last semester. I needed to withdraw because I wasn't interested in the material, and I didn't need the class for anything except for getting into Comp Sci. Decided that wasn't my path and so thought I dropped it.

I've had many Withdraws before and never had an issue.
