I am young and I have No clue.
Oh and for the record--- My guidance councelors SUCK! They sit there. and like stare at you, counting down the minutes until you leave thier office..

Well with an attitude like that, even if they were giving you good advice, I doubt you were going to absorb it.

i went in there with an open mind.
and thats how they treated me.
i had no idea they were like that..
so its not my attitude..it was very awkward and i very much did not like it..
so i came to this site, to ask the opinion of others- who help people..
But after posting this thread.. some people can be very accusing and just a little mean.. but i think i'll stick with google for my seach on a major

Maybe this is because they get paid by the hour whether they counsel you or not.
But it would help if you had thrown them a bone, by asking them questions or telling them your likes and dislikes in a job.
