Why is she interested in this degree? What classes does she like? Maybe paralegal? Or, maybe getting a masters in Social Work? I ask as I have over ten years in the legal profession but will be going back to school and eventually earn a masters in either Counseling, Social Work or School Psychology.
She is interested in going back for her masters in mental health counseling, or psychology, but she needs a gig in here field now to afford day to day life.

Then I would suggest she look into code enforcement. That job is usually associated with a local health department. It will give a foot in the door so-to-speak. When she gets her graduate degrees, she can transfer over to social services or counciling w/in the health department at the same employer without losing time accrued or benefits and the like.
