Umass at Boston
Btw, I am applying for Graduate Engineering School

Michigan Tech has a good regional academic reputation. However, you have to be okay with winter weather that has temperatures similar to Anchorage, Alaska and an average of 200 inches of snow each year. It's also a pretty significant hike to Green Bay, which counts as the nearest 'big' city.
If you love to cross country ski or snowmobile, it's great, but you have to be okay with the cold and isolation going into the educational experience.
It could be the north east bias in me (or the fact I graduated from Drexel) - for me the 2 that stand out are Drexel & Northeastern
It looks like all of them probably carry more clout regionally than nationally and all locations are diverse
If you have a preference for one area of the nation and if that is where the alumni base is and where the professional contacts and specific university name recognition are then there is tremendous value there.
When I graduated I moved to the midwest where no one knew Drexel. Here in AZ there are enough people from the NE where I do get some name recognition. In the Philadelphia area the school is very well thought of.
So far, my application was approved by Michigan Tech, Missouri U S&T (rolla), Umass-boston and Texas Tech, and I am still waiting for Drexel, WPI and Northeastern.
At first I am not sure where I can get into, so I've also applied some master programs, and I got admitted by New Mexico Tech and Rochester Institute of Technology very easily.
BTW, I am not familiar with the schools' reputation in local industry, because I am an international student.
Could you please give me some advice?

All depends on where you want to work after graduation.

Ultimately it will depend on what you are studying and who you will be working with. You should be researching the professors you might work with.
So would look at where recent CS PhD grads from those schools got jobs to judge relative usefulness of school
Also would choose college near powerful industries (and potential employers) for any CS grad....obviously, Silicon Valley's tech industry; NYC and SF's finance industry; and Houston and Dallas' energy and finance industries
