Sometimes it is a tough choice to select the Mod edit - advertising linkcollege and university to attend. Maybe we will be influenced by our friends, right? We try to inquire if we have friends who are attending that school. Others also consider the location together with their facilities. I think most of the students would prefer that their school is closer to their houses.

You, which would you prefer? Near or far?

Well I went to undergrad half an hour away from home and grad school in another country and neither one really phased me.

A lot of my good friends came from NY to CA for undergrad and loved having four years of sun. It depends on the person.

My daughter wanted to be far enough away that she could live her own life without us dropping by, but close enough to come home when she wanted so she chose a campus 3 hours away. Our son wants to keep living at home and go to a local campus, he likes the amenities here
