Hi, I was wondering if there is such a thing as "easy" colleges to get into for International (European) Students. If so, what are the "easiest" colleges/universities to get into ?

Regards.

Generally speaking the easiest colleges to get into for an international student will be the easiest to get into generally. There may be some difference in the case of state schools. Many of them have a minimum percentage of in-state students they must enroll and so it can sometimes be easier for an ins-tate applicant to get in to a state school than someone from out of state. But there are lots schools that are relatively easy to get into. That should probably not be your number one criterion. Generally speaking the easier the school is to get into, the lower the academic standards and possibly the less respected the school. It would affect the marketability of the degree. Perhaps if you had a region of the country or something it might be easier to narrow down a school to suggest.

Just get into the best school you possibly can.

You don't want to get into any of the low ranked colleges. I don't know know where in Europe you are from but many of the classes at those schools, especially freshmen and sophomore year, don't cover much more than what many European students learn during their secondary education. So better think twice about going to a low-ranked university in the US, especially since you, as an international student, will NOT be able to receive a substantial amount of funding. Don't waste thousands of dollars for a mediocre education. I am sure if your grades weren't super bad in high school you'll have a chance at many universities, especially if you can fund yourself. There are tons of colleges who emphasize their international and diverse student body.
