Hi Friends
As u know I have to have a bachelor degree before I apply to a pharmacy school. the question is : if I spent the first 2 years of my first bachelor degree in a community college, is that gonna effect my chances to be accepted in a pharmacy school ?
You don't even need a BS/BA. You just need a list of prerequisite classes and a PCAT score. A BS is helpful though. I don't think 2 years at CC will hurt you as long as you have a good GPA at the 4 year. One thing I've seen is especially with chemistry is in CC it is so much easier that students who then transfer to a 4 year get their buts kicked in general and organic chemistry. I TA'd preparatory and general chemistry so I know.
do you have an idea about the school of pharmacy in ucsd ? it requires a bachelor degree or 2 years of study to apply to to the school of pharmacy their ?
