This is the oddest thread I've read on this forum in a long time.

With that said, I don't like the phrase "go to sleep." You're not actually going anywhere. I feel gypped out of a vacation or something. Hmph.

Why aren't high school dropouts called "underdiploma"?
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?
Why do we pay to drive on a freeway?
Why is it called a toothbrush and not a teethbrush?

You really need to stop taking some words so literally...

Whining about things as petty as this just make you sound even more immature and less deserving of the recognition and accolades that you so desire.

Because "loser" and "slacker" are both shorter words.

If you have just the undergraduate degree then just call it your degree or your BA or whatever. It's really only if you have several degrees that you need to differentiate them.

I have never heard anyone ever express the thought that "undergraduate" was an insult. To each his own, I guess.

This is just not typical of what goes in the education forum. For some very odd posts, go check out the relationships forum, or even the parenting forum.
