Currently, I live in a small rancher in the Patty Jewitt neighborhood. I am looking to move into a bigger house towards the west. However, I hear there are many issues with areas like Gold/Crown Hill Mesa and Tamaroon. Can anyone direct me to websites or some such so I can find reliable information concerning these issues? Thanks

You might try this site Enviromental Ethic at Gold Hill Mesa give you some info on what gold/crown hill mesa is built on - or phone and visit the city regional building dept for more info on how they stablized the ground - the same applies with tamarron - some parts of the rockrimmon area can be of concern however when you visit houses in that area you will see any noticable cracks or movement. If you visit www.pprbd.com and look for permits on any address you will see whether there has been any structural work done and as I say when you visit you will be able to see it too. You might try contacting a structural engineering company too - they often have good knowledge of the town and its faults. Hope this helps
