Okay, I'm from Baltimore (26 years) and Northern Virginia / Fairfax County (31 years). Been here 2 years now.

Love it here, for all the reasons stated in 'why choose colorado springs.'

CTown, get your education, see the country, see the world, settle where your heart desires lead you to. If I could go back and live my life over, man, would I ever hit the books. Don't blow it. Study your ass off now while you can, otherwise, you'll end up like me...the 40-year "overnight success" from SHK, aka the School of Hard Knocks.

Lots of places in Ohio are fine, been to all the major ones on 4-day weekends with my railroad history group (Cincy, Dayton, Columbus, Akron, Cleveland and Youngstown. Not to mention Athens, Bellaire, and my favorite, Willard).

s/Mike from back east....but I ain't going back...except for graduations, funerals and crabcakes.

I lived in the Springs as a kid. From 1956 to 1965. I live on the Western Slope now. But if I had to move back to the front range, it would be Colorado Springs.I am not into cities. Garden of the Gods,Will Rogers shrine,Cripple creek, Victor,Gold Camp Road,USAFA,Manitou Cog Railway. And there is Pikes Peak. And much more. That is what I am into.
