I am tired of inexperienced girls at overpriced chain hair cutting places. Anyone know a good barber shop?

Well, there was an article about a great barber downtown that is retiring - but I think the place is still open. I couldn't tell you the name of it, though.

What kind of barber are you looking for? Military cuts or civilian?

Mike at Unisex Barbers at Galley and Wooten does a great job, and is by no means overpriced. but, don't go when you're in a hurry.....he takes his time. You'll be in the chair for a while.

Yeah, know whatcha mean. Went to a Korean lady on Academy near Dublin, man, she was fast, but my hair looked so-so. Tried another Korean lady on Research near Powers and she was even worse. I've a gal I go see up in Monument who's good, but I sure wish I had the old Greek guy from back in the DC area (Dmitri), man, after one of his haircuts I could've been on the cover of GQ, flawless cut.

I may try some of these guys people are recommending.

PS: Going WAY back almost 40 years, my old barber in west Baltimore was good; he learned the trade while in jail.
