Did anyone see what looked like two black parachutes float northwest over Fountain last evening? There was no sound and looked like two large square parachutes. Tracked pretty much north over Fountain Mesa Road.

I haven't heard about them. Probably just something from Fort Carson.

I saw something interesting in that direction about 15 minutes ago. Whatever it was, it had lights but was moving slowly and didn't resemble any aircraft I've ever seen.

Yesterday was an election day, of sorts. I'd bet it was those black helicopters that so vexed Ross Perot in 1992. They're baaaaaack.

I wish I had my camera handy. First looked like a flock of birds but it was to compact, black with square edges. I know it wasn't starlings. Called the COS airport and said they saw nothing.

It's hard to picture what you saw to weigh in at all with suggestions. Too bad you don't have pictures. Both these sightings were at dusk apparently, when the light can fool your eyes pretty readily.
