You're so welcome. Glad everything is working out for you. For people that do the heavy research, things usually do work out.

Yes TCHP, if we can call it such on the forum, then we might just use the term "automative grab ass". I'd love to see the cops really cracking down on that. I haven't met anyone where I thought "That is a really good human being" and then heard them rev the heck out of their engine with a customized "muffler" designed to be louder so they can interrupt people at 11pm. Honestly, I would favor an exchange program where the city offers to replace their mufflers for "free" and having the cost of the program covered by a $250 ticket on the first loud muffler ticket and seizing the car on the second offense. If the problem wasn't fixed by a $250 ticket and an offer to have the mufflers replaced for no additional cost, the car might as well be seized, the mufflers replaced, and then be sold at auction to cover the program.

Basically, these overgrown kids need someone to step in and say, "If you can't play with your toys responsibly, you won't get to keep them".

Note, I hear the automative grab ass played most frequently at night on Powers.

I've witnessed it late at night on Academy, too. Not often...since I rarely am out late, let alone out late driving Academy...but sometimes.

I actually keep getting stuck behind people driving really slow. I just assume they're stoned.

Powers, arg. There is a frustrating drive. Wide with long enough stretches between lights to get on a comfortable roll, only to have the next light turn red. Rush hours are even worse. At least they didn't grant curb cuts to every business in between lights on Powers like they did on Academy.

Can't say I'm much in favor of any program that seizes private property, especially for something as minor as noise, but do agree it is annoying at times. There are already a number noise ordinances on the books to address these issues, they simply need enforcement. They also have careless, reckless, reckless endangerment, exhibition of speed, and a host of other charges they can level at these individuals. Local law enforcement has not grown at an equivalent pace with the growth of the community and they tend to focus their efforts in other areas. so unless they get regular and consistent complaints from numerous entities, it isn't on their radar in a normal day.

Powers is nice early on a Saturday or Sunday morning. But any time near rush hour it is not pleasant, imho.
